Merton
College

Merton College, one of the oldest Colleges in Oxford, is located in
the centre of Oxford just behind the High Street on a quiet cobbled road that
suddenly seems a million miles from the hustle and bustle of the city. Conference
facilities are extensive with a large main conferencing room and a number of
smaller rooms available. Varying room set ups and styles offer flexibility,
choice and comfort for any type of event. Accommodation is available for up
to 100 visitors in comfortable single-study bedrooms. Some of the 50 en-suite
rooms are situated in the most historic parts of the College and have modern
shower rooms, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone and computer network
points. All 100 rooms are comfortable and well laid out with working desks,
telephones and washbasins. Standard rooms share bath/shower-rooms all situated
very conveniently to your bedroom area. Extensive gardens, walks along the old
city walls and walks down along the Thames are all available to our guests.
