We offer a collection of conference and event spaces enabling memorable events at the heart of Oxford, combining historic character with modern comfort and technology. Our spaces provide an inspiring setting for everything from board meetings and lectures to multi-room conferences and receptions. Spaces can be configured for a wide range of formats—plenary sessions, breakouts, workshops, and dining—with many rooms equipped for seamless presentations and hybrid meetings. Our Tudor Dining Hall provides an atmospheric setting for formal dinners and conference dining.

Our Meeting Spaces
MBI Al Jaber Auditorium
The MBI Al Jaber Auditorium was completed in July 2009. It is built into the bastion of the ancient city wall and both preserves and accentuates original features such as the arrow-slots and embrasures of the bastion. Accommodating up to 120 attendees in theatre style and 48 attendees in cabaret and classroom style, as well as this space is ideal for a wide variety of events including presentations, lectures, panel sessions and group discussion. For even greater versatility, the tiered seating can be discreetly put away to open up the full floor area. This space features a large projector screen, lectern, audio system and microphones, and is equipped to facilitate hybrid meetings.Venue Capacity

MBI Foyer
The Auditorium Foyer is an ideal reception, poster session or breakout space for conferences. The room boasts large floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, which provide plenty of daylight and can be opened up to the Turner Quad. The space is a great space for refreshment breaks, conference lunches and drinks receptions. Steps outside the Foyer lead to the Handa Terrace as an additional reception and networking space, with views across Christ Church Meadows.Venue Capacity

Rainolds Room
Located in the old President’s Lodgings. An elegant room suitable for plenary sessions, lectures and social events. Our most popular space for a pre-dinner drinks reception, it is a traditional, panelled room with French doors opening onto the Turner Quad, leading to the Auditorium and Handa roof terrace. The room has a capacity of 35 attendees in theatre style, 24 in boardroom style and 60 in a buffet/drinks reception layout. Once part of the Old Library and offering views across the main Quad, our largest newly created meeting room combines character with contemporary design. This modern, light-filled space is ideal for larger meetings, workshops, and presentations, comfortably accommodating up to 24 attendees in boardroom style, or 48 in both U-shape and theatre configurations. Handa Terrace
The rooftop Handa Terrace features a recreational space with beautiful views across Christ Church Meadow to the river, blending into the surroundings of the 'wild' garden for which the College is noted. Corpus Garden
The Corpus Garden is famous for its ‘wildness ’, blending a wide range of flowers and botanical curiosities in a distinctive and arresting series of spaces. On a sloping mound above the croquet lawn, a huge copper beech nestles against the shadow of the old city wall, and ascending the paths to the top of the slope gives spectacular views over Christchurch and its meadows.
