Founded in 1937 through the generosity of Lord Nuffield (William Richard Morris), the renowned motor manufacturer, Nuffield College was established to advance the study of social, economic and political issues. Today, the College combines distinctive architecture with a peaceful setting in the heart of Oxford.
Conveniently located just a two-minute walk from Oxford's bus station and approximately five minutes from the railway station, Nuffield College is exceptionally well connected. Despite its central location, the College offers a calm and welcoming environment for meetings and events.
The College's meeting rooms are ideally suited to smaller conferences, seminars and management away days, with internet access and audio-visual facilities available in most spaces. Fine dining can be arranged for between four and 96 guests.
Out of term, overnight accommodation is available for up to 10 visitors in recently refurbished ensuite bedrooms, each equipped with a desk, computer and telephone.
