Located in the heart of East Oxford, close to both Cowley Road and Iffley Road, St Stephen's House offers a unique and characterful venue for conferences, meetings, training events, and residential stays. The college is available for exclusive use, providing clients with a private and personal setting for their event.

St Stephen's House was founded in 1876 by members of the Tractarian movement and has remained within the Catholic tradition of the Church of England ever since. Today, it serves as an Anglican theological college, providing formation and education for both ordained and lay ministry.

A range of meeting rooms is available, alongside several distinctive spaces, including the neo-Gothic chapel and cloister designed by the renowned Victorian architect George Frederick Bodley. These historic surroundings provide an impressive backdrop while maintaining a welcoming and intimate atmosphere.

Accommodation is available for up to 62 guests, with a variety of room types including self-contained flats, en-suite rooms, standard single rooms, and twin rooms. Standard rooms are equipped with hand basins, with shared bathroom and shower facilities located nearby.

Dining options range from informal refreshments to formal meals, served either in the spacious dining hall or delivered directly to meeting and seminar rooms.

Many rooms combine modern facilities with traditional furnishings, reflecting the historic character of the college while supporting the practical requirements of contemporary events.

Step-free access is available to selected ground-floor meeting rooms and the dining hall. Full accessibility cannot currently be provided across the entire site. Further information is available on request.
